My roots in this life lie in Sicily, a land rich in history, culture, and traditions that have shaped my identity. However, my innate curiosity drove me to explore the world.

I began by noticing and learning from the small but substantial differences I observed by going to my uncles’ or classmates’ houses, and then opening myself up in amazement and gratitude to the entire world.

From a very young age, I chose to learn languages other than my own out of a desire to communicate and connect with as many people and cultures as possible.

I love to travel and use my big eyes to observe and learn, convinced that discovery and continuous learning are nourishment for the spirit. Every encounter and experience lived in different places enriches our lives and broadens our perspectives, offering new keys to understanding reality and moving possible narratives of our past and present experiences.

If my roots are in southern Italy, and my trunk is made of love, courage and curiosity, today my fronds expand until they reach the United States. In fact, life gave me a gift, just when I least expected it, of a new life partner “made in Michigan” with whom we are building a new life together, also sharing interesting work projects.

In my worldview, I don’t believe in casualty, and the choice to live and work between Italy and the United States is not accidental, but represents a plan that is only now clear to me that I have learned to connect the dots of my life backwards.
